Bavaria 50 Cruiser sailing yacht
The Bavaria 50 Cruiser is a large cruising yacht providing spacious and comfortable accommodation for several families, or a group of up to 10 adults. Accommodation is in five cabins, providing 10 permanent berths with three ‘heads’. The main cabin can also provide additional berths if people wish to ‘spread out’ more.
With so much space, the ‘50’ can accommodate several families with children sailing together; the forward side cabins providing bunks which are aways popular with children. Alternatively she makes a good boat for a group of friends wishing to sail together.
Like many modern yachts the Bavaria 50 Cruiser can be managed by a crew of two, although at 50’ a larger crew always makes mooring and other tasks simpler. ‘Short handed’ sailing is eased by her her in-mast furling main and furling headsail making sail work simple and her bow thruster assisting with close-quarters manoeuvering and parking.
The Greek Sails Bavaria 50 Cruiser yacht is equipped with twin-wheel steering, rolling genoa and in-mast furling mainsail plus a bow thruster. She also includes full teak deck, chart plotter and other equipment as detailed below.
There is an inflatable dinghy with outboard to help you get ashore if you anchor-off or simply to allow you to explore.
Instrumentation includes twin binnacle compasses and three ST60 instruments in the cockpit and a Raymarine chart plotter at the navigation desk in the cabin.
The Bavaria 50 Cruiser is also equipped with a Raymarine inboard (built-in) autopilot, a GPS, DSC VHF radio & EPIRB by the chart table. Charts and pilot guides are provided.
The yacht is equipped CD/radio player with speakers in the main cabin and external speakers in the cockpit, allowing you to listen to music as you sail.
The Bavaria 50 Cruiser provides two main cabin heads & shower to both port and starboard of the companionway. There is a third heads & shower forward, accessible from the short corridor leading from the main saloon to the forepeakand two forward side cabins.
There is a chart table to starboard in front of the starboard heads with control panel, chart plotter, GPS and VHF radio and CD/radio player. The main saloon settee and table can convert into an additional large double berth.
